A ribbon of blue bleeds into paper towel,
Watercolors pool where a river used to prowl
The old Underwood keys down a nearly silent confession
Clack of metal teeth against digital obsession
You paint me in washing blues, diluted and thin
While the peak stands so cold where the glaciers begin
Thinking like a mountain, five thousand years deep
Holding up the snow while the valley goes to sleep
You send targeted ads for a quick-fix for the terrain
Granite never crumbles under temporary rain
Flash of a Polaroid, white border framing time
Trying to capture a slope that it refuses to climb
At a small, silver lens, you level accusations
Calling my silence a war between our two nations
Type out your grievances. Sharp and direct
Looking for an echo I don’t want to reflect
Thinking like a mountain, ancient and so high
Watching every lightning strike flash through the sky
Desperate notifications light bright across the dam
Yet every bitter word is getting sent straight to spam
The wolf on the ridge fears the weight of the stone
How the forest might collapse when it’s truly left alone
You want a swift answer, a digital ping
A quick resolution for a permanent thing
The summit remains unbothered and unmoved
By the thin paper evidence you think they approved
Diluted watercolors, a snapshot turned grey
The ridgeline is silent
The noise fades away
